Lorraine Horlock
Hello there, my name is Lorraine Horlock and I am proud to be part of the Barking Mad team, offering exceptional service to dogs and their owners. The area I cover is Ashford and the surrounding villages, the Kent coast area from Lydd to Folkestone and all the places in between. Have a look at my ‘Areas Covered’ tab for more details.
I live in Maidstone with my husband Mike and our gorgeous greyhound Peggy-Sue, who brings us such joy and fun.
Prior to taking on a Barking Mad franchise I had worked as a senior manager for a National charity for about 14 years and was looking for a complete change but just couldn’t find anything that appealed to me. One evening I saw an article in the local paper about Barking Mad and thought ‘that’s what I want to do!’ I am now lucky enough to be part of this brilliant concept and work from an office at home with Peggy-Sue helping – well she’s more of a sleeping partner really!
I know how vital it is to find good dog care for your four legged family member or it can ruin your holiday with worry. We would never consider using kennels for Peggy-Sue and know how stressful it can be to decide what to do for the best. Barking Mad takes all that stress away and I am proud to offer this unique and professional service offering a safe and secure home for your pet with one of the dog loving host families whilst you are away. I know they’ll enjoy it so much you’ll wish you could go with them!
If you would like any more information about becoming a host or would like to enquire about using our service please do contact me on 01622 756530.
