Barking Mad presented itself to the Community at Carnegie Hall ,Thetford.

On Tuesday 22nd October , we met some amazing people and great community groups at the Well-being Fayre , for the over 50’s , funded by the Royal Voluntary Service .

Barking Mad presented itself to the Community , and explained how hosting , and looking after a dog , can benefit your lifestyle and add to your general well-being , by giving you a sense of purpose , calmness , companionship , and of course socialisation , and how simply walking your dog , leads to meeting like-minded people , which naturally brings in exercise , lowers blood pressure , increases your Heart-rate , and reduces Cholesterol .

I also talked to many people on how our chosen charity , Dogs For Good , works within the community , and appreciated by many .

The concept and appreciation for how Dogs can benefit your well-being , was well received by a multitude of people and as a result , The Thetford U3A ( University for the third age ) asked me along to their Monthly general meeting on Thursday 24th October .

The Well attended meeting began with three great stories from their guest speaker and then , after updates and event briefings , Lesley kindly gave me the platform to promote the Barking Mad , host service and all the benefits that it brings .

I was very appreciative of how I was received , and it was great to meet so many lovely individuals , and special thanks to Sheena Tate , of the Royal Voluntary Service , and Lesley Braund of the Thetford U3A , for giving me the opportunity to communicate our great product and service .
