Spring News from Hereford & Ludlow
Well we wished for the warm weather of spring to arrive and it certainly has. Here’s a snapshot of where we’ve been and what we’ve seen. We have seen an American Greyhound in Aymestrey, Bedlington Terrier in Bodenham, Cairn Terrier in Craven Arms, Dalmation in Dilwyn, English setter in Eardisland, Flat Coated Retriever in Fownhope, Greyhound in Grafton, Heinz 57 in Hereford, Irish Setter in Ivington, Japanese Chin in Jay, Kerry Blue Terrier in Kington, Labrador in Ludlow, Maltese in Moreton-on-Lugg, Norfolk Terrier in Norton Canon, Oh no nothing for O, Parson Russell Terrier in Pembridge, Red Setter in Richards Castle, Staffordshire Bull Terrier in Sutton St Nicholas, Tibetan Terrier in Tenbury Wells, Vizsla in Vowchurch, Whippet in Weobley, Yorkshire Terrier in Yazor.
We honestly have been to all these places and had all of these breeds out this spring but maybe not so well alphabetized! ????
We have hosted 2 coffee mornings, one at the Wyevale Garden centre in Kings Acre, Hereford and another at the fabulous Ye Olde Steppes at Pembridge. We are looking forward to enjoying the sunshine at various shows around Herefordshire / Shropshire. We even had time to watch the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markel with Oliver out on Holiday.
Events
Keep an eye out for us in 2018, we are attending Ludlow Dog Show, Kingston Show, and lots of Car Boots and Fetes.
Winter Dog News from Hereford & Ludlow
Barking Mad Hereford and Ludlow dog sitting service have enjoyed a great Winter, and will be happy when the warm weather of spring arrives. We have been to Ludlow, Llandrindod, Kington, Knighton, Hereford, Hay-on-Wye, Bromyard, Bodenham, Presteigne and Peterchurch to name a few. And we have met some fabulous news dogs including a Shih Tzu, German Short Haired Pointer, Collies, Miniature Dachshund, West Highland Terrier, Good old Heinz 57, and a Jack Russell.
We had a lovely host Christmas party. Lyonshall Village hall came to the rescue when we had problems getting in at our planned venue. Everyone mucked in and it proved to be a great success, Mele Kalikimaka!!!
We are firmly looking forward to spring now and love the Daffodil lined roads of Wales, followed by the bright yellow rapeseed fields surrounding Hereford. Bring on the lighter days and warmer sun… But we still enjoy a kip on the sofa every now and again like Frank…
Look out for us at various events in 2018, We’ll be at Ludlow Dog Show, Kingston Show, Car Boots and Fetes etc…
