I had the pleasure of attending the Blackwater Country how on the 18th June 2017. It was such a hot day it was lucky they had such a lovely lake for the dogs to cool off in. The weather may have put people off bringing their dogs out but there was plenty of people coming up to say Hello and to have a chat. I will have a stall at a couple more local events during the year so if you are in the area and would like to find out more about Barking Mad please come and say hello
I will be attending The Great Notley Village fete on the 15th July between 1pm - 9pm and also Hatfield Peverel's Essex dog Day on the Sunday 27th August between 10.30 - 4pm.
Look forward to seeing you there!!
A few weeks ago we organised a Garden Tea Party for our Host's and families.
It had been so hot at the beginning of the week we were a bit worried about everyone getting burnt! On the day there was plenty of cloud and a chance of rain (even more worrying!) but the rain held of and it was almost perfect Garden Party weather.
There was plenty of sandwiches and nibbles and as always the cakes went down a treat! It was great to get everyone together and get know each other over our love of dog's. There was plenty of stories about our doggy guests and it was great to share everyone's experiences.
Everyone had a great time and went home with a 'doggy' bag as plenty of cake to take home.
We are looking forward to arranging a few more get together's throughout the year.
If you would like to find out more about joining our host community in Chelmsford please get in touch.
WOW, it’s been a year since I started Barking Mad Chelmsford and I love it, I have met some lovely people and their dogs and really enjoy finding each dog a fantastic holiday home.
My hosts are fantastic and they always go out of their way to make sure that their doggy guests have a lovely time when they are on holiday. I could not do what I do without them and I want to say a Big Thank You!!
It’s always a good idea to get organized and book your dog in for their holiday, when you are arranging yours. We do get booked up, especially at busy times, and we don’t want to disappoint your dog. As we always say at Barking Mad, dogs deserve a holiday too.
I am meeting lots of new customers too. They are mainly finding us through google searches, and also through word of mouth. When our customers recommend us to their friends, they get a FREE day’s holiday for their dog, as a way of saying thank you. When dog owners find a service like ours that they LOVE, they tell their friends. So thank you everyone for spreading the word.Your dogs’ really do appreciate it.
Happy Dog. Happy Holiday. Happy You.
As Spring is in the air and Easter is approaching I am looking for more host families to look after dogs during school holidays.
If you are an experienced dog lover missing the companionship of a friendly dog, big or small and you do not want to commit to a dog full time consider becoming a host. Do not be Dogless.
Hosts are usually retired, stay at home mums or work from home.
We will support you 24/7 and you have nothing to provide except your time and love. We bring the dog to you and pick them up again.
If you know anyone that is Barking Mad and who would love to share their home with a dog on holiday, please get in touch on 01245 330463/07703 388009
