Hi my name is Lynda and I am lucky enough to cover the beautiful area of East Devon (I probably have the best views of all the franchisees!). I am married to Paul and we have 2 boys and 3 – yes 3 dogs!
In 2007 I decided that I no longer wanted to do the normal 9-5 job, I thought that it was about time to get my work-life balance sorted out. I was already a customer of Barking Mad and was really pleased when I found out that the business was available for re-sale. Leaving the past behind me I joined a group of like minded people who love dogs and want only the best for them. No one day is ever the same, I could be driving to the coast to collect a dog for their doggy holidays in the morning and then on the edge of Dartmoor in the afternoon.
Over the years I have had some fantastic feedback from my customers about how happy they are that their dogs holiday with us and it is a real pleasure to see the same dogs come out year after year, but what makes our business so special is the loving host families that are happy to have visitors in their homes. I always try to make sure that the same hosts always have the same dogs for each holiday and the dogs trot up their drives and pathways as though they are visiting an old friend.
Since taking over in 2007 I have seen the business grow from strength to strength and have now taken on staff to help during the busy months.
