Won’t my dog miss me when I’m away?
The beauty of home-from-home pet care is that it’s the dog’s holiday, not yours! Instead of seeing an empty house, they arrive in a lively home and spend the all-important first minutes exploring new surroundings and getting acquainted or reacquainted with their hosts. They soon become part of the family and receive all the love and attention they need to distract them from your absence.
Do you keep in contact during their stay?
We stay in regular contact with our host families and in the unlikely event of your pet becoming ill, we will contact your vet and take their advice regarding treatment and care. You are free to contact us at any time for a progress report.
What happens when I return home?
We will collect your dog from the host family and deliver him to you at an agreed time. Once we’ve checked that everything’s all right, we’ll make ourselves scarce while the reunion begins!
Next time, will my dog go back to the same family?
For future ‘dog holidays’, we will make every effort to ensure that your pet can stay with the same host family. Building up a loving relationship is just one more way that our home-from-home pet care service provides an alternative to kennels or conventional pet-sitting.
Should I have my own pet insurance?
