I live in South Manchester with my husband, Kraig (we got married in May 2025) and our 3 year old son, Arlo. My 11 year old stepdaughter, Ivy-Lilly also stays with us on weekends and during the school holidays.
Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I was lucky enough to have my beautiful Collie cross, Maisy, for almost 15 wonderful years. Sadly, we said goodbye to her in February 2024, and she left a huge hole in our hearts. We all miss her every single day, and she’ll always be a very special part of our family.
After leaving school in 2000, I studied Performing Arts, which led to an exciting career in the entertainment industry. I worked as a Redcoat at Butlin’s, a Funstar at Haven, toured the UK as a dancer and singer in tribute shows, performed in hotels and family venues across Salou, and later returned to Butlin’s as part of the Show Team. It was an incredible experience that allowed me to meet amazing people and create unforgettable memories.
For the past 15 years, I’ve worked for an events and promotions agency, recruiting and booking staff for events across the UK. I loved matching the right people to the right roles and helping events run smoothly. After being made redundant, I decided it was the perfect opportunity to follow my passion and take the exciting step of purchasing the Barking Mad Wilmslow & South Manchester territory.
I’m incredibly excited to begin this new chapter and can’t wait to care for your furry family members. I know how important it is to have complete peace of mind when you’re away, and I’m committed to making sure every dog enjoys a safe, loving, and happy holiday filled with care, attention, and plenty of tail wags!
As a Barking Mad host, you will offer bespoke home dog boarding in Wilmslow for weekends and holidays. If you would like to say goodbye to ‘doglessness’ and enjoy having a temporary furry guest. Enjoying all the social and health benefits of dog ownership without the financial or full-time commitment. Then why not become a part of our valued host community.
