Hello, my name is Kerry Wells and I love running your local Barking Mad Spalding dog sitting service. You will most probably be reading this because you are looking for the best of care for your beloved dog while you are away from home and this is what we offer in so many ways. Our local service near you covers Spalding, Boston, Peterborough, Stamford, Rutland, Oundle and all the villages in between and we have dog sitters in many of those areas.
Our bespoke service will ensure that both you and your dogs receive a really relaxing holiday, confident in the knowledge that your pets are safe and happy. We are insured and proud to be licensed under the new Animal Activities Act 2017.
We take time to really get to know your dog’s unique needs at your home so we can match them perfectly with one of our truly lovely dog home boarding hosts.
I live in Spalding and started Barking Mad dog holiday care in 2006 having spent 28 years in retail Banking. I have not regretted a single day of running this wonderful business, meeting so many gorgeous dogs and their owners. Our host families are the heart of our business and very special to me and my team at Barking Mad. Each dog sitter host is carefully selected with many being retired or working from home. They all have one thing in common – missing a four legged friend around the home. We also provide a Barking Mad community for our host dog sitters where we meet up for coffee, cake, dog walks and Christmas parties! Being Barking Mad is great fun!
It can be a difficult decision deciding what to do with your dog when you are away from home, we really understand this so please give us a call so we can explain how we work and help put your mind at ease. We often arrange little sleepovers so you can be reassured that your dog is settled with their host family. I know from personal experience how important is is to leave your dog in the right hand as I have owned two epileptic dogs and my beloved Jack Russell Harvey who passed away in 2017 at nearly 16 years old had heart problems. My dogs host were simply fantastic with my dogs and my holidays were enjoyed knowing they were in extremely safe hands.
Please do not hesitate to contact us on 01775 720382 for an informal chat about our service, which is a fantastic alternative to kennels and I would also would love to chat to you if you are interested in becoming a host.
Looking forward to hearing from you and meeting your beloved pals!
