The latter would mean giving strangers the key to her home, only for them to check in on Bronte once or twice a day, not really spending time with her. It was far from ideal.
So, what Lee did was devise an idea. The idea of was a dog boarding service that had dogs go to the homes of boarders and get looked after in a loving environment whilst their owners were away. That idea became Barking Mad and is now one of the largest dog boarding franchises in the UK.
