We are very proud to announce that Barking Mad Dog Care has achieved ISO 9001 certification, in a first for the pet care industry! This is a huge achievement which demonstrates the effectiveness of our quality management system and our capability of satisfying the rigors of an external, independent audit.

What is ISO 9001?

ISO 9001 is the world’s most recognised quality management standard. It is used in over one million organisations internationally and provides the management framework to improve business practices and the provision of products and services to meet customer expectations. Continual improvement is a focus of ISO 9001, ensuring that organisations continually respond to and meet the needs of customers, whilst improving working practices throughout.

The ISO 9001 standard provides the assurance that an organisation can demonstrate compliance with proven business practices and appropriate standards. Certification proves commitment and the right attitude to providing a high level of customer satisfaction and willingness to improve efficiency.

Helen Shaw (Barking Mad Head Office and lead support on the project) said,

Maintenance of the ISO 9001 quality systems will be a continual process which will allow us to retain the high quality of support we offer and grow together with our franchise network.”
