Who are Smith and Henderson?

Smith and Henderson‘s vision is to be ‘the most innovative provider of employee and customer feedback solutions.’ They are a leading independent franchise consultancy, whose Franchise Satisfaction Benchmark Programme (FSB) is designed to help franchisors build trust with prospective local franchise owners and stand out from the competition.

The FSB works by inviting existing franchisees to participate in an anonymous online survey which asks them 31 questions about their franchise ownership experience. Using a consistent methodology, the franchise is assigned an overall FSB score and the highest performing franchisors are recognised in the Best Franchise Awards. The feedback from the FSB Barking Mad’s franchisees completed was analysed and we received a comprehensive report detailing results, anonymous comments and benchmark data. The report allowed us to understand our relative performance and identify areas upon which we could improve.

5* Recognition

We are delighted to announce that our dog sitting franchise was one of an exclusive group, to be awarded 5* franchisee satisfaction, due to us receiving above average feedback in all key areas which franchisees are asked for their views on. These are: training and support, our franchise system, our culture and relationships, stewardship and leadership and general satisfaction.

At least 50% of our franchisees had to complete the survey, which provided a snapshot of their opinions at a specific point in time. The results are valid for 12 months, with Smith and Henderson requiring franchisors to re-survey annually to maintain their 5* franchisee satisfaction status.
