Hello, I’m Karen,
I am very excited to be organising your local dog home boarding service in North Wales. We provide the very best alternative to dog kennels in the Conwy, Bangor and Anglesey area. It’s a personal dog sitting service with a carefully selected, experienced dog loving hosts who can meet your dog’s requirements.
From my own experience I know that one of the down sides of going away is having to leave your beloved pets behind. There can be such anxiety surrounding this and I know of people who have stopped holidaying abroad as they cannot leave their dog in kennels. Stay-cations are great but we all deserve a bit of sunny luxury!
I live in Penmaenmawr, North Wales with my husband Andrew, and our son Matthew. We have two dogs; Murphy a very chilled out, friendly Labradoodle and Poppy a comical and affectionate English Springer Spaniel. I have been a dog lover all my life and have grown up with dogs from a very early age.
I have lived in North Wales for over 20 years and spent my nursing career working in Ysbyty Gwynedd and before that Llandudno Hospital in their A&E departments. After being in nursing for 30 years I decided that a change was as good as a rest and took the plunge into starting my own dog care business. I felt a professional home from home dog boarding service was much needed in North Wales and as I have always wanted to work with dogs, after reading about Barking Mad it all seemed to click into place.
Our hosts are all committed, reliable and experienced dog sitters who get great enjoyment from providing excellent holiday care for dogs, after all dogs deserve a holiday too!
If you are a dog lover and would enjoy having doggy company without full time commitment, we would love to hear from you. You could be the perfect dog holiday host and join our local Barking Mad family.
We cover North Wales postcode areas: LL28, LL30-34, LL56-78 please do get in touch we’ll be happy to hear from you.
I have been the owner/coordinator of Barking Mad since February 2017 and have taken the hard decision to put my business up for sale. I have seriously enjoyed building up the business and everything will continue as normal during the sale process and with the new owner. It’s an extremely satisfying and rewarding job and there is nothing better than being your own boss and meeting lovely dogs and lovely people every day. Running my own business has also given me the flexibility to work from home and spend time with my own two beautiful dogs Murphy and Poppy.
I have regular customers that book time after time as they love our service. I also have frequent new customers to register and organise Barking Mad holidays for. I have built up a great relationship with all my lovely host families they are all good friends. They look forward to me bringing their doggy guests and get togethers with the other hosts for lunch or a chat.
This really is a fabulous job for someone who wants to work for themselves and benefit from running a rapidly growing and successful business. I am looking for offers around £19,995, more information is available here – https://www.barkingmad.uk.com/franchising/
