August 2017

I had a busy weekend attending the All About Dogs event on the 27th and 28th August at the Norfolk show ground and was joined on Sunday the 28th by my colleague Tania who operates the Barking Mad franchise in West Norfolk. It was nice to see some of my hosts on the day and so many people enjoying all the events and shows that were running during the course of the 2 days.
The weather was sunny and we spoke to lots of people who were interested in using Barking Mad not only for their dogs future holidays but also about becoming a host family with us too.

Host BBQ
What a lovely afternoon we had at our Host Family BBQ this month and the weather stayed fine for us too which was an added bonus. It was a great opportunity for my host families to relax, chat to each other and swap stories. It was also nice for new host families to meet existing hosts and one of the topics of conversation was of course dogs.

New team member

We now have more dogs than ever enjoying a holiday with Barking Mad Norfolk. This increase has led to another addition to the team. Some of you may have heard of him before in conversation with me. The new member of the team is my husband Chris. He has for some reason decided he can put up with me not only at home but at work too (he must be mad!). Chris has come from an IT background and is currently in training. He will be joining us full-time in May and will be out on the road doing collections and deliveries so many of you will get to meet him soon.

Barking Mad has come a long way in the past few years. We are constantly monitoring our service to provide the best possible care for your dogs. We felt the time was right for a rebrand. Over the next few weeks you will notice the logo changing on emails, cars and clothing to name a few. We hope you like the new look as much as we do!

December 2016

To thank our lovely host families for all their dedication and commitment to Barking Mad we treated them to a Christmas party. Lots of mulled wine, snacks and mince pies were enjoyed by all. Each host went home with a gift bag of Christmas goodies to enjoy over the festive period. We regularly hold events for the host community to get together and swap stories. Keep an eye on this webpage for updates on any upcoming host events. These are great fun and are not only for current hosts. Feel free to come along and meet us. If you would like some more information on joining the community then please get in touch.

Meet the team!

Carol and Denise are also part of the team and are as mad about dogs as I am. Carol has been working with me for some time now and you may have already met her. As you can see from the photograph we do look very similar which is due to the fact that she is my mum, they say keep it in the family.

Denise and her husband have been a host family with us since 2010 and she also now works as part of the team too.
