Our Move

Well it's been a busy few months for us. We have moved out into the beautiful Kent countryside. It's taking a lot of getting used to. Coal fires and tractors going past the windows each day but we love every minute of it.
There's so many brilliant places to walk the dogs and having a much bigger garden has certainly gone down well with Dotty & Butch.

We are delighted to welcome the following hosts to the Barking Mad family -

Debbie contacted us about becoming a host after speaking to one of our current hosts Claire. She loves animals and was looking for company for her own dog Miko.

Sandya & Clive

Sandya & Clive read our article in the News shopper and decided becoming a host would be a perfect fit for them. They have already hosted one of our customers dogs Dolly and they are fantastic with their years of dog caring experience and super garden.

Albert & Anne

Albert & Anne spoke to us in summer about becoming hosts when we were chatting to them whilst walking our own dogs. Sadly Max their boxer past away and they have since decided that they wish to look after dogs for Barking Mad. They have tons of experience in dog care and are happy to taking all dogs big and small.

Brand new tags

Barking Mad Popper models the new style Barking Mad Tag.

All our dogs will now be tagged with the latest tags. I hope you agree that they look very smart.

Busy, Busy, Busy

We have had such a variety of dogs on holiday through June and in to July.  They have all been very lucky with the weather which makes for a better holiday.

Jean and John in Wetherby.

Jean and John are our host family based in Wetherby.  They have been a host family for Barking Mad since 2005.

They have just celebrated 1000 nights of dog hosting.  Fred the Toy Poodle was the lucky guest, who coincidently was their very first guest in October 2005. Pictured are Jean and Fred in 2005 and Jean, John and Fred in 2014.

Each guest that stays with Jean and John get 100% attention, they enjoy lovely walks, trips out in the car and picnics to places like Knaresborough and Otley. Each dog is allowed to sleep anywhere, even in Jean and Johns bed. Jean always writes the most fantastic postcards and sometimes the dogs go home with treats and special letters for their owners.

Jean and John are very special hosts who enjoy every guest that comes to stay.

Thank you Jean and John.
