Here at Barking Mad Middlesex we have had some great fun over the summer organising lots of dog holidays. It was a hot summer for the dogs and we had many ways of keeping them cool. For some dogs we provided cool mats for them to lie on, others enjoyed a paddling pool. Our hosts walked their doggie guests early in the morning and late at night to avoid the hot temperatures and we tried to spread the message to the local community about the vital importance of keeping your dog cool in summer.

We enjoyed some lovely local dog walks with our dog host families at Saville Gardens and Bushy Park, we always stop after the dog walk at a dog friendly coffee shop or dog friendly pub with some of our dogs on holiday for a quick cuppa. We have started compiling a list of local dog walks and also dog friendly coffee shops in and around Windsor, Ascot, Staines, Sunbury, Shepperton, Twickenham and Richmond as we thought this would be really useful. We also attended some great local fairs and events recently, we had a brilliant time at the Englefield Green summer fair and we met lots of new dogs who were keen to find an alternative to kennels in Englefield Green! Shepperton Village Fair is always a wonderful event and we had much fun meeting new host families and more dogs who needed a holiday in Shepperton!

2017 Host Christmas Party
We are now getting ready for our Christmas Host Party which we will be holding in Laleham Village Hall. This is a busy time of year for us and we really love to celebrate the warmth and generosity of our wonderful hosts at this time of year. They love to have a dog on holiday over Christmas and enjoy giving our customers a real holiday knowing that their dogs are having a home from home holiday themselves.

Christmas Holidays are coming, and we will be attending our first Christmas Street Fair in Sunninghill on Sunday 18th November. If you are a local dog lover in or around Sunninghill then please come along and say hello and pick up some lovely dog treats for your best friend! Maybe you are interested in hosting a dog on holiday, then we would love to talk to you about our wonderful dogs that come out on holiday with us instead of going to kennels.
